Sorry for the lack of Updates, been a difficult month i guess.

Anyhow, i will be Gone for about 2 weeks, the reason is I WILL BE GOING TO JAPAN!

So yeah, i probably wont have the chance to update during the trip, So when i get back i’ll do a full report(with pictures!) of my adventure in Japan.

Ookiku Furikabutte

Summary: The series, set in Saitama, follows Ren Mihashi, who had previously excelled as his middle school baseball team’s ace pitcher, due to his grandfather’s connections as its manager. As he graduates to high school, whose baseball team his grandfather does not manage, he initially does not believe he is good enough to succeed at baseball, however, but assisted by his friends, he grows in stature, confidence and skill, helping his team excel with his own ability.

Ookiku Furikabutte is the first base ball anime i watched, it was defiently great. I never really liked the sports genre, but after watching this series i feel more open to watching more sports genre. The story for this is great, about a weakling growing up to become a more stronger person. The character development is really great too, the characters are all unique and makes the sports fun to watch. The only thing about sports series, is that they are usually really long or short. In Ookiku Furikabute’s case, its short and its kinda sad that they dont go through out the whole tournament because one match is like a million episodes long(over exaggeration) and they dont go to Koshien, i just hope that they do another sequal to this series. And i usually like to watch shorter series. Any how i really like how this series came to be.

Production A-1 picture is a pretty small production group, thats pretty new, it was founded in 2005, so its been only 4 years, and their names are going out pretty widely. Cant wait to see what other series is produced in the next couple years.

The OP for Ookiku Furikabutte “Dramatic (ドラマチック)” by Base Ball Bear  is one of my faveorite theme songs out there. i think that Base Ball bear is a really great Jpop group and i’ll definetly review them eventually. The End theme song “Medaka no Mita Niji (メダカの見た虹)” by Kozue Takada isnt that bad too, its only alittle bit slow, but not that bad still as an ending.

The series is really great, one of the best baseball series out there. So i think you all think will enjoy this series quite bit.

The JAM project is a anime music genre group based in Japan, The “JAM” stands from “Japan Animationsong Makers”. Founded on July 19, 2000 by a famous 1970 song artist Ichirou Mizuki. The Group composed of many talented vocal artist througout various genres; aside from anime and video game themes. Each member is famous for his or her own solo performances of Japanese theme songs.

I recently got into listening to this group after listening to one of their song “Skill”. This group is really amazing, as a person who listens to alot of anime music and such, i feel bad that i didnt even know about this group until recently. They are a great group with great talent in doing their job. The music they create is so amazing. Its almost unexplainable in words, you are going to have to listen to them in order to understand how great they are.

They worked on quite a few anime theme songs, but they are mostly famous for working with the theme songs for the Super Robot Taisen Anime and Game series. Other anime that used their songs consist of Yugioh GX, Crush Gear Nitro, Keroro Gunso, and more others.

If you guys have the chance i totally suggest you guys listen to their songs, will not be a disappointment.

The story for this game is that There has been a rumor spreading throughout Gensokyo since the early spring about a flying treasure ship. Since it brings good omen, the heroines race to see who will be the first to board the ship. But from the sky, there’s a black, shadowy figure moving at a high speed chasing the girls…

This game is alot harder for me to play, since im not used to it, so i was only able to complete about 40% of the game in easy mode… yes thats pretty lame, but i cant help it, the game is so hard~! but its definetly a fun game.

The game really improved through out the years, the character design havent really changed, but new characters were added, which is awesome. The 3d environment for the BG is really well made. The soundtrack is probably one of the best thing for this game, the music is really awesome. great Tunes to get for you mp3 if your a touhou fan.

 This game is the 12.3 of Touhou’s Game release with Tasogare Frontier. Touhou Hisoutensoku also know as Unthinkable Natural Law. This will make this game the third 2-d fighting game that Tasogare and Shanghai created. Hisoutensoku was released very recent in Japan at the Comic-Market 76 (this year) along with Touhou 12 Seirensen, aka Undefined Fantastic Object.

After playing couple rounds i really thought that i’m more better at this game then the 2d shooter original touhou games. I really enjoy the battle actions that the characters unleash.

The graphics are great, the sprites for each character is really made well and the battle stage and everything else is amazing. Very beautifully created.

Summary: Tadashi is a sensitive boy who loves nothing more than knitting. Unfortunately he’s also the secret boyfriend of Saya, the leader of an all-girl gang that terrorizes his school. However, they must keep it a secret from everyone.

 This manga is quite new, and i dont know all too well about it, yet. But after reading what they have, one thing is for sure. This is a great comedy romance manga. The story line is great, kinda seems over used, but still with the characters in place it brings great story.

Tadashi the main character, who’s basically a normal middle school boy, but has one secret that he’s keeping a secret from everyone, is that his girl friend is the strongest gang leader of the school. Saya, Tadashi’s secret girlfriend, does all her best to get to stay as close as possible to Tadashi and get to know more about him, but her gang members seems to be bothering them all the time. They both keep it a secret from everyone because they think that it would be wierd to see a wimpy ordinary boy with the strongest gang leader. Yuna, Mitsuki, and Momo are Saya’s best friends and her other member of the gang. They(except for Momo) dont know that Saya is going out with Tadashi. As the story progresses they all seem to be doing activities together, because of one thing… the Student president, Tomeo Kinoshita, he believes with justice he can change the heart of the gangs and make them into great citizens. But it usually fails. Alot other characters appear along the way and make the story more interesting and fun to read.

The only down side to this is the art, its not the best drawings you would see, the proportions arent drawn correctly and the characters designs arent the best, but its all good, because this is a comedy/romance manga, which fits perfectly with this kind of drawing, it adds more expression and humour to the characters.

So if you all want to have some fun and read a great action, school romance comdey manga this new series will definetly be great for you.

i just cant wait for the next chapter to come out. excite excite.

Summary: Tsukamoto Tenma is an ordinary 2nd year high school student who has fallen in love with one of her classmates, Karasuma Ooji. However, currently she is unable to confess her feelings to him. To make things worse, she found out that Karasuma is transferring to another school in a year. On the other hand, Tenma’s other classmate, Harima Kenji (who is a delinquent) is also in love with Tenma. Not being able to confess his feelings, Harima gets depressed day by day.

 Yeah, School rumble is a fun school romance comedy anime, All the characters in the series that appear have their own unique personalities, and brings great assets to the series. Tsukamoto Tenma is the heroine and is in love with one of her classmate, Karasuma Ooji. She is not very intellegent and is a bit clumsy, but is very friendly and has everyone’s respect for that. Tsukamoto Yakumo is Tenma’s younger sister, but quite the polar opposite of Tenma, a very responsible younger sister who thinks of her older sister alot. Kenji Harima, the main guy role in this series, He is also the feared school gangster, but he actually is a very good and caring person. He is in love with Tenma and is always challanging to show his love to her but always ends up failing. Mikoto Suo, Eri Sawachika, and Akira Takano are Tenma’s best friends and each are great friends with everyone as well. There are alot more fun characters in the series, but it’ll take forever to list them all and their awesome personalities. Find out yourself by watching the show.

its really great to see each episodes to see how the characters all develop and grow up througout the show.

The Animation done by Studio Coment is pretty good. They do a good job in portraying the original manga art and adapt it to the animation very well. Including the the drawing difference when the manga reached the final chapter. The animation is very clean and flawless. The color use is very normal yet it stands out more then the other school comedy animations, its more bold.

 The OP Scramble (スクランブル)” by Yui Horie with UNSCANDAL is a fun song that i think was made just for the show. The animation is fun and you can see the characters personality through the OP. The ED “Onna no Ko♥Otoko no Ko (オンナのコ♥オトコのコ; Girls♥Boys)” by Yuko Ogura, is another fun song, the music is sung by Ogura Yuko a “dullminded” idol, she’s pretty funny. simple animation with fan service of the female characters. XD

So yeah kinda short review, but this is a great school comedy romance series. I think you all will enjoy watching this series. there is 3 seasons of fun.

Hayate no Gotoku

Summary:

Abandoned by his parents and given a monumentally large debt as a Christmas present, 16-year old Ayasaki Hayate is at the lowest point of his life. Desperately trying alter his hapless fate, he decides to kidnap someone to hold for a ransom. Due to an ill choice of words, the girl he tries to kidnap misunderstands the action as a confession of love. His plan is totally crushed when he gives his real name out. Realizing his wrongdoing, Hayate proceeds to rescue the girl from the yakuza, who had instead kidnapped her. The girl, as a token of thanks, offers Hayate a job as her butler. Hayate, overwhelmed by her kindness, vows to protect her even at the cost of his life.

16-year-old Hayate is really down on his luck. His unemployed parents are good-for-nothings who waste the money they have on gambling. One day, his parents have racked up a huge gambling debt that they had to sell Hayate to the yakuza for the value of his organs. In a desperate attempt to avoid that fate, Hayate decides to become a “bad guy” and kidnap someone to be held for ransom, but his efforts to do so are mistaken as a confession of love by the girl he targets.

So Hayate no Gotoku, the only plot that you can say this anime has is, Ayasaki Hayate trying to get himself free of debt that his parents left him with. This anime is definetly not for those who value story and plot most importantly in an anime, because Hayate no Gotoku, does not have such thing, it is mostly consists of comedy and random episodes. This is only fun for those who like the slice of life romance comedy kind of anime. Some may think of it as a waste of time, but others have their own opinion when viewing this anime series.

I watch this because its a great and fun series to watch, quite comical and exciting. the animation isnt all that great, but the production group does a really good job in creating the original concept art into animation.

The Characters in the show are quite diverse and Hayate no gotoku is obviously aimed for people who like maids. Hayate the main character, very dull minded, but a really reliable butler, Nagi the heroine, the tsundere rich girl. Maria the maid who takes care of nagi, who’s probably the moe and perfectionist type. Isumi a friend of Nagi and is a maiden who vanquishes evil spirits. etc etc, there are many different characters that really make this show a great view. Doesnt get boring.

The OP “Hayate no Gotoku! (ハヤテのごとく！)” by KOTOKO, is obviosly a song just made for this anime series, its a really great opening, great animation and the music fits perfectly in sync with the anime. The ED “Proof” by MELL, is a nice mellow song that has a good finish to the end of each episodes.

Hayate no Gotoku is definitely a great watch as long as your not picky about the story/plot, and have alot of free time. XD

 Summary: Many people in the world aspire to be hunters, for either the fame, wealth or special privileges. However, it is said that only one in hundreds of thousands can pass the test to be a qualified hunter. Gon’s journey to become such a hunter, and to find his father, who is acknowledged as the greatest hunter in the world, begins. Along the way, he befriends Killua, a member of a renowned assassin family, Kurapica, who is determined to become a Blacklist Hunter to capture the criminals responsible for his tribe’s deaths, and Lerio, who aspires to be a doctor.

HunterxHunter started in Shonen Jump in 1998, was ongoing until the author started going on hiatus, and now nobody knows if he’ll ever comeback. Yoshihiro Togashi, before HunterxHunter, was famous for creating the manga series “Yu Yu Hakusho”. About a ghost detective and fighting tournaments, great battling, awesome characters.

So one thing about Yoshihiro, is that he has really great idea’s, very creative and has great character developments and uniqueness for each set of characters. The only down thing about Yoshihiro is that he doesnt seem to be able to finish anything. For Yu Yu Hakusho, he seems like he couldnt end it well, and now with HunterxHunter he cant even come back from a hiatus, leaving the audience with a bad taste. His art style is very simple and easy too, it really shows that he became really lazy with his drawings, from the beginning to the end, the drawings are definetly better, but he gets really skimpy with it.

 The first arc, when they are trying to get their Hunter licence is probably the most fun and interesting story, then after that it becomes more dark and hard core battling. And finally the arc that is keeping the author from drawing is the arc with large mutant insects that basically kill everything and is impossible to defeat.. so basically Gon and his friends are the only hope… but still Yoshihiro is not gonna finish it. sadly.

Great sence of humor, many great action, fun fantasy, and lots more are offered in HunterxHunter, its defienly a great manga to read, but after reaching the end, it makes you mad that Yoshihiro is on hiatus.

Years later, Lelouch is in high school, but regularly skips out of school to go play chess and gamble on himself. One day, he stumbles on terrorists 11’s who’ve stolen a military secret and is caught by a member of the Britannian task force sent after them, who is Suzaku. As the rest of the squad arrives, Suzaku is shot for disobeying orders, while the military secret, a young girl, gives Lelouch the power of Geass, which makes anyone obey any order. While Suzaku is secretly made the pilot of Britannia’s brand new prototype Knightmare, Lancelot, Lelouch becomes the masked Zero to lead the rebellion to destroy Britannia once and for all.

One of the best mecha anime series ever i watched. Probably one of Sunrises best series they ever created. The character development in the series is amazing and the story is really well made. Goro Taniguchi is a really great writer, being able to write such a intense and fenominal story, he is a genius. I never felt so excited watching a series like this. So many action and excitement between the character interaction. I really think that this was a great series to watch.

Sunrise studio is the best production group that creates the best mech/robot series.The animation is really well mede, especially with all the details with all the mecha’s they create, the Gundams are really detailed and they do a fenominal job on creating their animation flawless with all the details entailed. Really a great animation production group, one of my top 5 production group.

The OP for Code Geass is really great “COLORS” by FLOWS is really awesome, the animation is really well made and the musci really works perfectly well. FLOW is one of my favorite j-rock group. The Ending song “Yuukyou Seishunka”by Ali Project, they make a really interesting genre of songs. yes they do.

Code Geass is a really great series, and intese series, i highly suggest the series for everyone to see.
